Our Programs

Orphanages

Orphan children are considered to be more vulnerable due to the lack of proper care, nourishment, and security. Orphanages in Bosnia are suffering from the lack of funding from their government programs and are therefore struggling to make ends meet with their children. We are dedicated to working with them through projects that help provide necessities to the children.

Schools

With a majority of the population living in poverty, parents struggle to provide their children with school necessities such as backpacks, supplies, and paying for school lunch. By identifying overlooked schools in rural areas, we are committed to providing them with the tools they need in order to make sure the children can focus on their studies.

Mektebs (Islamic sunday school)

To make sure that parents don’t have to choose between buying their children new supplies for school or mekteb, we’re here to make sure they don’t have to. Our work with mektebs in underprivileged villages consists of working with the mosque’s imam to provide all of the children with the supplies they need to continue their religious education.

disability centers

Children with disabilities have limited access because the schools in Bosnia do not have adequate disabled facilities. The few disability centers that exist struggle to receive proper funding from the government. We are focused on creating projects that will provide these centers with the necessities they need in order to support all of their children.
